Coin lockers at Nishi 18-chome Station’s Exit 3

Nishi 18-chome Station houses two coin locker facilities. As you exit the station towards exit 3 (direction of Hokkaido Museum of Modern Art and Miyanaga Kotaro Art Museum), you will find coin lockers right next to the exit. Here’s what you can expect:

  • 3 coin lockers available at 300 yen each
  • 4 coin lockers available at 500 yen each

These coin lockers come with keys and, although they feature touch panels, they do not support transportation IC cards. Please be cautious as this may make them a bit challenging to use.

The maximum continuous usage is 72 hours (3 days), after which your belongings will be removed, so bear this in mind. Given the limited number of lockers here, you might want to explore other options.

Similar to the first set of lockers, these also feature touch panels but do not support transportation IC cards. The maximum continuous usage is 72 hours (3 days), after which your belongings will need to be removed.

Editor’s Note

While Nishi 18-chome Station has two coin locker facilities, they provide only a total of 14 lockers.

If you’re planning to visit the Hokkaido Museum of Modern Art, it’s worth noting that there are additional coin lockers on the museum’s first floor. For larger items like suitcases, it would be advisable to use the lockers inside the station.

However, for smaller items, carrying them to the museum could be an option.
